We are all familiar with some of Thailand’s most famous island locations, such as Phuket, Koh Samui, and Koh Phangan. These islands are located in the Andaman Sea. But what about the destinations for people who would rather not follow the typical tourist path? There are several tropical islands in Thailand that people can visit to experience paradise in its most untouched form, each of which is beautiful and peaceful. The beauty and tranquilly of paradise in its purest form can be found on these six islands off the coast of Thailand, although finding them may be more difficult.
Koh Lao Liang
The locals of Koh Lao Liang have gone to great measures to restrict the number of visitors who come to their island so that they can preserve the stunning natural attractions that can be found there. This quaint island has been designated as an eco-resort, which means that the number of day-trippers it can accommodate is limited.
Due to its location in the Koh Petra Marine Park, accommodations are restricted to opulent campers rather than the hotels and resorts that can be found on many of Thailand’s other islands. Ko Bulon Le
With only 150 permanent residents and a relatively undeveloped tourist infrastructure, the island of Ko Bulon Le is a true natural gem. This island can be found in the far south of Thailand, not far from the border with Malaysia. It features a wide variety of breathtaking white beaches, most of which see only a handful of visitors at any given time.
In addition, the island features a range of beautiful hiking paths all across its territory, and its waters are home to an incredible assortment of coral reefs that are excellent for scuba diving. Koh Phra Thong

It is home to desolate beaches, beautiful tropical forests, inland waterfalls, expansive stretches of mangroves, Mu Ko Lanta National Park at its southern tip, and even a historic lighthouse. Macaques, sea turtles, unusual birds, and an abundance of tropical fish are just some of the animals that call Koh Lanta’s ecosystem home. The island also provides a delightful eating experience, with restaurants serving delectable seafood, traditional Thai cuisine, and even some cafes and restaurants decorated in the European manner.
Koh Libong
Koh Libong takes great pleasure in the fact that it is one of the very few remaining spots on our world where visitors still have a chance of seeing the incredibly rare dugong, commonly called sea cows, in their native habitat. Other features of the island that draw visitors include its tropical forests, its natural golden beaches, and its towns built on stilts, in which Muslims live solely for the purpose of fishing. The island is home to four eco-friendly resorts, yet it has mostly retained its natural state.
Koh Mak
This privately owned island is the ideal holiday site for families wishing to spend time together in a natural paradise, as it is a quieter alternative than its neighbour, Koh Chang, which is also a popular tourist destination. Visitors can choose from a wide variety of activities and attractions on Koh Mak, including three distinct fishing towns, palm forests, rubber plantations, two deserted beaches, and three distinct diving schools.
